The experience of Eurodia / Ameridia has shown that one technique
is usually not enough to efficiently resolve the problems of its
clients. In most cases, the optimum technical and economical solution
is a process combining several techniques. Initially, Eurodia was
established to commercialize electrodialysis systems using stacks
of its own design but very quickly added ion exchange resins as
pre- or post-treatment steps. Ion exchange resins became particularly
important when the company started to supply bipolar membrane electrodialysis
systems. Over the years, the company offered in addition Ion Exclusion
Chromatography, Microfiltration, and Nanofiltration. There are currently
dozens of customers who operate plants with several (more than one)
process steps supplied by Eurodia. In many occasions, a customer
who started to work with us with an ED system, ordered a second
or even a third process step from us.
